Antarctica

Antarctica

The Great White Continent, never claimed by any nation, and devoid of indigenous people or culture. It is the windiest, driest, coldest place on Earth. It holds 70% of the world's fresh water in the form of ice, despite being classified as a desert. The little snow that falls never melts, and it has created ice as thick as 3 miles, overlaying mountain ranges as high as the alps. In its winter the surrounding oceans freeze and she doubles in size... but we'll be visiting in the early summer when the frozen seas will loosen their hold, making way for Penguins, Seals, Whales and Birds to find their favored breeding and feeding grounds. It is the only place on Earth that has remained pristine, with many regions as yet unknown, untouched, uncharted. It has been said that to experience it will change your life forever. It is the trip of a lifetime. It is Antarctica.
