Popcorn Time
It was only eight weeks ago that we returned from our trip to The Falklands, South Georgia, and Antarctica. The time has moved quickly, and I've been feverishly busy creating that final video for your grand experience of South Georgia. If you will remember, that was the one location that was so incredible it defied a short summation. So today we have the unveiling of our very first "movie" here at blendingtogther. Its time for Popcorn!
What an amazing encounter of wildlife awaits you on the remote Southern Atlantic Island of South Georgia. In this movie you will be right there as we make numerous Zodiac landings onto beaches and plains teaming with several species of penguins, seals, and birds. My intention with this little production is to show you exactly what that experience is like, without instructions, rules, or detailed explanations. What would you do... sit down, take a picture, try to find order, or just breathe it all in and join the colony?
You can watch the film right here on your computer. If you would rather download it to DVD for your TV, just Click on the movie title (or the word vimeo) within the movie player above, to go to our host video site. There you will find a link to obtain the original content for downloading. Also (on the vimeo site only) you have the option to watch the video "full screen" by clicking the square arrows in the lower right of the movie viewer (next to HD).
I hope you enjoy the trip, and will now understand my struggle to share in words what those beach landings were actually like.
