Scootering
It was so much fun! For four hours our guide Idriss and I rode around Barcelona. I followed closely behind him, zipping between cars and avoiding pedestrians like a pro. We stopped for hot chocolate, and later on for cafe. We experienced Gaudi's works, saw the 1992 Olympic Stadium, walked around the National Museum of Art, and finished with a Castle stroll with majestic views of the city. Video was collected for our Barcelona Movie... coming soon to this very site!
While we await that grand production, I've assembled for you a collection of photo's that portray a small selection of the food gazing we have enjoyed. They are available in the photo carousel.
Today we'll hit the sights and streets again. There isn't enough time for it all, but somehow we'll manage. Later on we have tickets for the Cirque du Soleil at the Palau Sant Jordi, one of the main venues during the Olympics. I've discovered a major advantage to traveling solo. Excellent seating is available for those remaining single seats. We'll be right down there near the stage for all the action.
Lets enjoy the day together. And don't forget to eat something Yummy!
