Five weeks later

Hi everyone!!  It's been 5 weeks since we returned from Norway and already there have been quite a number of changes here at Blendingtogether.  Our site has been enhanced (once again) to allow us to interact between journeys. It'll be nice to check in with everyone periodically, and post some updates.  

Speaking of updates... the big news is ready to be revealed.  Our next interactive adventure will be in January, 2010.  The location will be ATLANTIS! That makes me giggle.  Where is that? Who lives there? Did I miss that day in grade school? All are very good questions that I have asked myself.  And when it comes to exploring indigenous cultures, this one will certainly beat them all.

The idea and inspiration for this trip started to build while we were still in Norway; even though I tried to set it aside for a later scrutiny.  Now several weeks later the plans have been set and many of the reservations are booked.  I can still here you asking "where is it?", so let me explain that no one knows for sure.  But there is a postulated "area" that feels quite right to me; and that is where we are going to explore.

This is our interactive map for the trip, and you can zoom, expand, and click on the markers for the locations.  It's a big area, and you can use your cursor to explore the map. Just click and drag the map around, or switch between Map, Satellite, and Hybrid view. You can't break it, I promise.  

As in the past we are going to be moving around a lot... more than ever before. A large portion of the trip will be over water (makes sense for Atlantis), but there is also a week in Barcelona where we will be... HMMM... there's a lot that will happen in Barcelona, and I don't want to give too much away right now.  Let's just say that I think we will be falling in love with the city of Barcelona
