Egypt
Pyramids! The Nile! The Sphinx, Monuments, and Tombs full of riches! Is this what you think of when you imagine Egypt? For many of us, the idea of a visit to Egypt makes our pulse quicken. How can we not include a visit to a place that defies time itself? It was in celebration to LIFE that the civilization of ancient Egypt created the most fascinating, mind-bending structures on this planet... three to four thousand years ago! And many of them still stand. If you consider that the USA is only hundreds of years old, maybe we have much to learn from an empire that thrived for several millennia. During this journey we will listen carefully for the whispered secrets that the stones, the sand, the waters, or even the very air may impart.
