Malta Anyone?

Destination Egypt, in February, was by necessity postponed. Currently it is looking like we will now be heading to Cairo, the Nile, and the land of the Pharaohs in November. But as we know, all things happen for a reason. And with a hole in our travel schedule, it took me very little time to find the location that we were truly meant to visit last month. Didn't you know? You and I were in the Maltese Islands, and had a fabulous time!

Here at Blendingtogether we enjoy a very healthy imagination, and we often don't worry about the clock, a date, or a rigid schedule. That is how you can sit on a beach watching the penguins in Antarctica, while also resting in your home in big fuzzy slippers. In much the same way, I find it difficult to travel without always feeling you right beside me. Last month, which feels like right now, we took a 10 day holiday to Malta & Gozo. Much of that time we were on the smaller island of Gozo, enjoying a self-guided biking adventure.  Gozo is only 8 miles by 4, so a bike was perfect.

A break from riding

If you are still having trouble remembering, thats understandable. Over the next several weeks you will begin to recollect, as we travel together to this brand new place, on a brand new journey, that I will assemble from all of the memories, photos and video that was steadily gathered. Ah, the Mediterranean is a lovely sea, and she has witnessed humanities struggles and virtues since time was first measured. In about a weeks time, we will begin our excursion to this ancient setting.
