The Laguna

Sun 1 August, 2010

Did you already know that there were this many types of Butterfly? So many have fluttered by, every size and color imaginable. There is something quite magical about the Laguna de Apoyo. Certainly there is the obvious; an ancient volcanic crater filled with crystal clear, mineralized water. It is so warm that you need never get out... and we tested that theory for hours yesterday. Is it because there are only five thatched roof Bungalows at our residence? Is it the desolation from the work-a-day world? Maybe it's the fresh Dragon Fruit Juice? HMM, I suppose it is all of these things. But maybe the real magic lies in what you feel, in addition to what you see.

Here is a small video of our life at the Laguna. If you will, sit back, put your feet up, and join us for some very special R & R.

The Zip-Lining video is now also available at the end of our previous post: ENJOY!
