Welcome!
If this is your first visit, please let me give you a personal tour. Essentially, blendingtogether is a space for exploring our world, along with finding HOME in the process. A few years ago I started to do some traveling that was more mysterious and adventuresome than the usual vacation. What I found were people just like you and I. Oh, we may look slightly different in what we wear, often use an unfamiliar language, and our living conditions can vary greatly. Indeed, you can find those same variations from one side of any town to another. But appearances are truly only skin deep. Blendingtogether is about finding those deeper layers that reveal our common thread. And it is there that I find myself at home, no matter where I go.
And so, I'd like to think that most of us are excited by adventure and new experiences. This web site was created to not only chronicle these travels... but to share them with you on a frequent basis, as the journey unfolds. Physically, I'll be traveling alone. But, if you have a healthy imagination you are welcome to join me virtually as we travel together on this site. Locations can vary tremendously, but when internet service is available I'll be posting updates; often including pictures and small movies. As in the past, we'll be looking for opportunities to volunteer and lend a hand to those in need. Also, we'll investigate any indiginous cultures that have endured the test of time. We'll be moving around a lot, so get ready for some fun.
We've just returned from Atlantis! Are you not curious? The entire experience is here for you to enjoy. Also there are the previous travels to Norway (including the North Pole region), Mali, Africa or the Himalayas of Nepal. Just click on the journeys link within the green bar above to access them all. What's more there's a gallery for all of the photo albums. And best of all, you can now easily subscribe to this site by entering your e-mail address. That way you will have an e-mail notification each time new information is posted. As in the past, you are free to comment following each journal entry. Some people like to travel together quietly; but if you are the expressive-sort, please join in at any time. It's not hard to do... you'll see as we go along!
Now I've probably got some packing to do...
